( what? )
R. is off to represent France to a meeting of all the European Countries about Renewable Energy. i went with him this morning to the station where he got the train for Brussels - good luck Roi de Photovoltaïque! (Good Lord i love that boy in a suit!)
after, i went to battle it out on my own to have my birth certificate translated. something i could do in two seconds myself, must be done by an expert and will cost at least 50€ but probably more because there is a second half of the page that says, basically, "dear parents, welcome to parenthood! we're so happy you're here!" but in a lot more words. God knows, that could be important legal info. unfortunately, translators are paid by the word.
so i'm all by my lonesome until tomorrow night - luckily, tonight is knitting night!
you won't judge me if i eat homemade lemon curd straight from the bowl for lunch now.
will you?
if you want to do the same, it can be ready in less than 10 minutes - i've made this recipe twice now and it is perfect!
p.s. i have no idea what that thing in the third photo is. the top part was going up and down and smoking and there was some futuristic music playing. and a lot of confused passengers.
p.p.s. yesterday i cleaned up the catagories and assigned each post to a catagory. i changed the layout too, not sure it's done yet. what do you think of the layout now? does it make you feel like you're sliding to the left?
