Happy December First!
It will come as so surprise whatsoever to anyone who knows me when I say I adore Christmas. The weather, the season, the lights and decorations, and the intentions: of preparing for something miraculous and new, being with family, showing those you love how much you care...
Love it.
So, I thought it would be fun to do a sort of virtual advent calendar, here, on the blog! I have some fun little ideas for each of the 24 days before Christmas to share with you guys, in the spirit of the season, including DIY tutorials for gifts, holiday sights from Paris, cosy food, and even a giveaway. Fun!

So, to start us off on the first day of December, we need some music to get us in the mood!
Inspired again by Jen Altman, here's a playlist of some of my favorites for you.
It Feels Like Christmas - The Muppet Christmas Carol
Santa Claus is Comin' to Town - Dwight Sills
I Pray on Christmas - Harry Connick Jr.
Santa Claws - Vermont
Baby, It's Cold Outside - Steve Tyrell & Jane Monehit
Jingle Bells - Anup
Let it Snow - Diane Krall & The Clinton-Hamilton Jazz Orchestra
Santa Baby - Eartha Kitt
All the Right Reasons - Dressy Bessy
Run Rudolph Run - Hanson (just try it)
You can listen to it here on Spotify

But I have to add this one because it is the song that probably gets the single most playtime in my world at this time of year (psst: try playing it really loud in the car at night - knock your socks off!)
enjoy!
